Description

The Flexim FLUXUS G831 ST-LT measures steam flow non-intrusively from the outside of the pipe in hazardous areas. Highly sensitive even at very low flow velocities and functions independently of the flow direction. Due to this large flow range (flow velocities from 0.03 ft/s to 196 ft/s), there is no need to reduce pipe diameter to fit an inline meter’s requirement of minimum flow velocity. Moreover, the non-intrusive measurement does not cause any pressure loss. The transducer mountings can be completely insulated to reduce any heat loss to the environment. With FLUXUS G831 ST-LT it is possible to capture all steam usage from very low to very high flow rates with one meter size. Fluid Type: Saturated and superheated steam Accuracy: Measurement uncertainty of the measuring system (volumetric flow rate): ±0.3 % of reading ±0,005 m/s (±0.02 ft/s)Measurement uncertainty at the measuring point (volumetric flow rate): ± 1…2 % of reading ±0,005 m/s (±0.02 ft/s) Repeatability: 0.15 % of reading ±0,005 m/s (±0.02 ft/s) Flow channels: up to 2 Range: Flow Velocity Range: 0,01 to 60 m/s (0.03 to 197 ft/s), depending on pipe diameter Certifications/Approvals: FM Class I/Div. 1FM Class 1/Div. 2ATEX/IECEx Zone 1INMETRONEPSIPESOKOSHA Power supply: 100-230VAC20-32VDC Pipe size: 23 to 1000 mm (0.9 to 39.4 inch) Pressure range: 3 to 10 barg (44…145 psig) Temperature range (media): +135 to +180°C (+275 to +356°F) Output: 4-20mA active/passive (optional Ex-ia)4-20mA HART active/passive (optional Ex-ia)pulse/frequency/binary Input: Temperature (optional Ex-ia)4..20mA (optional Ex-ia active) Communication Protocol: Modbus RTUBACnet MSTPProfibus PA (optional Ex-ia)Foundation Fieldbus (optional Ex-ia) System configuration and installation: For more detailed Information please download the Technical Specifications
